Two typical dressed bavarian ladies stand in front of Munich's most famous landmark, the towers of the „Frauenkirche“: Of course, there is always time for the latest gossip from the district. This shot was taken on the other side of the observation deck of the „Old Peter“. Does the work only look like a postcard? No, not at all. The subject is not limited to the presentation of a landmark. Anyone who dealt with the Bavarian values, especially with the preservation of the past, or with the characteristic view of the future from the perspective of continuity, can easily recognize the meaning behind it: The „Dom zu unserer lieben Frau“ is more than an old church. In the midst of its urban environment, it is the symbol of the great esteem of tradition, no building in the area may be built higher. The current technical progress can be found in other places in Munich. A succeeded interaction of tradition and innovation.
